The Mac Games Arcade program is available as a free two megabyte download and requires Mac OS X 10.4.11 or later to install and run. Pangea Arcade is the companyis answer to three 80is masterpieces, Firefall (an adaptation of 'Centipede'), Warheads (an adaptation of 'Missile Command') and Nucleus (an adaptation of 'Asteroids'). The other free games will be announced each following day on the Mac Games Arcade web site. In celebration of the program's release, Mac Games Arcade, the company behind the program, is now offering five free games over the next five days with the offer expiring on December 24th, 2008. The program, which offers access to nearly 400 digital download games, allows users to browse, download, buy and manage their Mac games via an intuitive interface. Not a computer game per se but more of an interactive comic book, Pangea: Return to Planet Earth is one of the earliest releases of its kind prior to the rise of CD-ROMs. Reading along with this unusual interactive comic book adventure.
